Hello ,
I recently acquired a painting I believe is by you , from the estate of Lord Cornack.
Originally sold by Francis Iles of Rochester.
It is a nude sketch of a girl sitting on a chair, and titled ‘gazing’.
Your date of birth is described as 1954 though.
Could I possibly send you a photograph please to confirm it was by you ?
Thanks for any help you can give me
Yours
Brian
Hi Julian,
I enjoyed your website and getting to know you thru your dancers movement these 30 years. My parents, Mary and Arthur from NY, met you in Convent Garden about that long ago. I believe they went to your studio… I have “Birds in Flight” , “Zoe”, “Girl in Waiting”.. and my Mom has a few more of your wonderful ballerinas at her home. They continue to inspire me throughout all these years…they have inspired all my three grown children and all the many friends we have had in our home…
The wonderful renditions from Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella brought tears to my eyes..you have masterfully captured movement and the emotion..you must do more ballerinas and get them out there!!!
My mom turned 88 yesterday, she loves her iPad. This will be a great bday gift to her … a Julian Williams update knowing you are doing ballerinas again and in color!
Ironically, we had a subscription to NYC Ballet for many years and we’re privileged to see him dance….I’m so glad you are doing well..btw my son’s name is Julian.lol
Thank you for your comment. I did not know anyone could comment on my website, and found 11,000 comments which are almost all spammers. But your comment was very much appreciated – it nice to know people view the page and some of my old customers are still holding on to their etchings!
